Am going to start supplying food to companies as my home business?

Am from Chennai,Tamil Nadu. I will start home food business soon. That is i will prepare food from my home using workers and will supply that to companies. So tell me how should i get contracts from companies? and procedures to start my business. Do i need to get any license?
